The brackets fix to the top of the recess, one at each end.

  2. 2

    Pre-drill and fix the brackets

Check the marks are level, pre-drill, then fix the control bracket first and the idle bracket second.

  3. 3

    Click the blind in

Click the idle (pin) end into its bracket first, then the control end, with the chain hanging straight down.

TipA few millimetres short of the bracket? Turn the clear wheel at the idle end clockwise to extend the pin.

  4. 4

    Fix the chain tensioner

Pull the chain loop straight down and fix the tensioner to the wall or frame so the loop hangs taut. Roll the blind up and down a few times to check it runs freely.

Questions

The blind won’t roll all the way up or down
Lift it out, roll the fabric up firmly by hand, and refit it. This resets the chain stopper.
How do I take the blind down?
Roll it up fully and firmly, turn the clear wheel at the idle end until it clicks, then lift the roll out of the brackets.
There are lines in the fabric
Fold lines from packing fade once the blind hangs fully down for at least three days.
Can I install a motorised blind myself?
Battery motors install like a chain blind and charge by USB-C, or with the optional solar panel kit. Hardwired motors need a licensed electrician.
